    Has any1 had compatibility issues with monitors connected to the DVI port of a 7950GTX? More specifically, LG's L204WT not being supported by the GPU?

    Yes I tried it on one other monitor that worked. But techs tried on other monitors and said it didn't work on most of them. They are offering a 8700 instead, but its slower and they dont offer any upgrades to compensate.

    Bump... Nobody had issues with the 7950 and their external monitor? If you have a 7950GTX working with a L204WT, please let me know!!!!

    I received my laptop with a 8700M, it works fine... now I'm wondering if my 7950GTX was defective or if it really has an issue with some monitor.

    I'm still looking forward to having responses from people with 7950GTX.

    ps. I hate to have to change my signature... I loved the performance of my 7950GTX :( ... unless you guys confirm it is actually working with a L204WT, I'll have to stick with this card.
