Hello guys I have a Clevo P670RS-G, the specs are bellow:

    Avell G1746 Iron

    Motherboard: Clevo P670RS-G (P65_67RSRP)
Processor: Intel Core i7-6700HQ 2.6 GHz, Turbo Boost 3.5 GHz
Video Card: Nvidia GTX 1070 (Mobile) 8 Gb
    Memory: Kingston 9905663-007.A00G 2x16GB SODIMM DDR4 clocked @ 2133 MHz
    SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB
SSHD: Toshiba Notebook SSHD 2.5" 1TB

And my issue started a while ago (1 month or something) after I changed my CPU and GPU thermal paste (all cables checked and reput correctly) my battery stopped charging and even it is saying Plugged in, Charging but it doesn't charge. I already changed the battery and the PSU, formated and tried everything, what could that be?

Let the battery drain all the way, then recharge it so the battery calibrates.

It drained and it simply doesn't charge. Just 0% Plugged, charging but nothing happens!

Probably a main board fault. Can you see any problem with the battery terminals on the board?

What type of Thermal paste did you use? If it was LM if any got on the mainboard it may have caused a short.

Last time I checked didn't see anything abnormal, will open the case take a picture and post here so you guys can check it out too. Any idea of how to solve it if it is on the motherboard?

This is the Paste I used: https://eu.coolermaster.com/en/cooling/thermal-compound/mastergel-maker/

Could have been static discharge while you were working got the charging circuit.

Not electrically conductive, so not likely the issue. I'm going to say something else caused a short while you were in there is the most likely issue. Probably need to replace the board if that's the case.

So I'll have to stay with the computer like that, don't think the brand will replace the motherboard which means giving me a "new" computer.

That's likely correct. If it happened right after something you did, they likely would call it user damage.

Here are some pictures I took, since I'm not an expert in this I'd rather show you guys too check and look for issues than try doing anything myself without help.

Here's the album with the images of the motherboard. (There some pictures here)

And this is the entire mobo picture:

@gab1 At a glance, nothing on the PCB looks unusual. If you disconnect the battery, you can check on the pins inside the connector, make sure none of them are damaged. Otherwise you probably should send it off for inspection, could be an underlying issue.

Hey guys thanks for your help, FWIW I sent it for maintenance and they solved it doing an "eletronical repair", but now all good with batery charging, temps are good, reformated windows and reinstalled everything and etc but everytime I try to play a game (PUBG, BF1, The Witcher...) after some mins it simply shuts down without any bsod, just shuts down the computer, I tested two different PSUS, 2 batterys, different GeForce drivers, formated and reinstalled everything and NOTHING changes still having this problem, anyone have any idea? Would that be related to the eletronical repair they did to solve my battery problem?

Here's a video showing my problem, the computer shuts down at ~3:40 , you guys can check it out:

Also I ran OCCT Power Supply test and it shut down same way after a while.

Might be worth looking at the heatsink to make sure it's seated well & no missing/misplaced thermal pads. Sudden shutdowns can happen in that case, even if temps seem okay.

Otherwise it could be a separate electronic, or electrical, failure. Do you have a spare AC adapter to test?

Heatsink seems fine, and yeah I tested with another AC adapter and it keeps shutting down, I'm sending it again to support and hoping for the best, hope it's not my GPU dying or anything like that.

It could be a VRM chip failing. Worth sending it in.
