I am deciding between a T61P and a 2092/JFL92. I know that the T61P has a rollcage around the screeen and chassis, but does the JFL92 also have one? I am not that clumsy, but just in case, would a JFL92 survive a 3 feet (1 meter) fall?

It doesn't and it will not compare to a ThinkPad. Get the ThinkPad if you want durability.

On a scale from 1 to 10, the thinkpad is 11 in durability.
The JFL92 is more of a 7-8 , and more for gaming and we all know gaming laptops get obsolete soon or get distroyed by angry users for not providing sufficient fps :D
