I'm not liking my DV7T for various reasons. One of them being the fact that I could literally cook on the GPU. I'm thinking of selling it off and using the money towards an NP5793. There are a few things though. First off, I really do like my 2.8 p9600 and I'd be dropping down to a 9300 at the best. I would get a better GPU, but I definetly eat up CPU power like it's going out of style. The thing I'm really looking for though is a mobile gaming beast. I built a decent desktop, for when I really need power. The biggest reason I'm looking at sager's is the fact that they have fans direct to GPU. My hp relies on a small vent. I want something that runs much cooler.
I won't really be losing money if I sell. I won this thing, along with a printer, and docking station. I wish I had left everything in box and sold it brand new. It doesn't have much wear, none really. I'm hoping to get at least $1000 USD for it, but who knows it it's possible.
Any thoughts? Should I just stick with my absolutely free DV7T or invest in an NP5793?

Since you'd not be losing anything, dump the _HP and step up to the Sager.

If it was my decision I would go for the Sager. Especially cause of the fact that you're not liking the HP.

Now the real question, who wants my DV7T?
-
Heh, I'm almost in the same boat, looking to dump my HP dv5z for a M860TU.
Junk my HP DV7T for NP5793
