    I can't give you a full answer on this, but I ordered mine Friday the 16th and it changed to "Final Testing Before Shipping" late last night, so I'm expecting it to ship today, most likely. Give UPS Ground 3-5 business days after that :b
    And no, I didn't get the rush service.

    And yeah, Larry was wonderful to work with--got me set up with a NP9377-S with fairly similar specs to your NP8278-S, but I SLI'd the 870Ms and attempted to cram in an irresponsible amount of non-SSD storage.

    Build time is going to vary from one reseller to another. But as far as transit time goes, that's easy to calculate as long as you know where they're located (and, hopefully, where you're located).
