Ok, i'm starting to really love these systems, I was originally looking at alienware, but now i'm seeing i can get a 15.6" laptop with a 580m and better memory and whatnot for like $500 less. but i have a few questions before i go this route instead.
1. I know dell/alienware offer an accidental damage protection coverage on their systems. are there any companies that sell clevo type systems that offer this as well? [this is a dealbreaker for me, i have to have this, i'm super paranoid and take my system everywhere with me]
2. are there any other companies like malibal [they're systems look awesome] that sell systems that have that same look? [again preferably with damage coverage because i guess they don't]
3. is there also anyone who offers these systems with backlit keyboards? this isn't so much of a big deal, i've just gotten used to having one.
4. how is the cooling on the 15.6" models in comparison with what alienware has? i don't want a system that'll overheat on me while i'm gaming.
5. also, how is the performance on these systems? i can't seem to find any reviews online that say anything about how good they perform [also battery life, i'm hoping for 3 hours just browsing and typing notes for school]
my budget is around $3100 [scholarship from school] so that's why i'm asking these questions, i just want to make sure i get what i want is all. thank you guys so much for the help.

1. I don't believe this is an option, as Clevo does not warranty accidental damage. You'd probably have to look for an outside warranty through something like squaretrade to cover accidental damage.
2. The laptops we sell are Clevo's- anyone that sells Clevo's sells the same models (or may have a larger/smaller selection of models). It's the support and customer service that typically differentiates them.
3. The current models do not have backlit keyboards, sorry.
They are rumored to be in an upcoming release though.
4. Cooling is great. The case itself should never really get more than warm (if that). The average GPU temperatures depend on the model you pick, but 70-85C are average. CPU will be a bit lower.
5. Performance again, depends on the card you're looking at. Check this link for benchmarks of each of the cards you're considering:

^^^^ In addition to the above...the Clevo-Sager models have world class cooling.
For all of the 'horse power under the hood' these machines run surprisingly quieter and cooler than one might think, plus they are user friendly to upgrade

Mr_Mysterious Like...duuuuuude
Clevo truly is second to none when it comes to cooling.
Well...maybe the Asus G series are better, but it's quite close.
