    Just bought a 8800m Gtx for my clevo m860tu

    Actually it fits, it even fits in the box that came with the 9600m Gs, the problem is that the heatsink connector to the card, with the 4 holes for screws is smaller than the one of the 8800m Gtx...i just need the correct heatsink and copper case.....

    oh, OK, do you mean that the holes on the 9600 have inserts with screw threads in them to mount the HS? If so that should come out and be mountable to the 8800 i think...?

    can you take a photo of the back of the 9600?

    you're correct, but the problem is that the distance between the holes is different from the ones in the 8800m Gtx. Regarding photos i was stupid and didnt take many....i should have taken more.....
    Also the case where the card goes is also different, because card connects to the back part of the case with screws too. Now i dont where i can get both the heatsink and the correct case... :(

    im not aware if the cases for the 9800m gt/8800m Gtx for the m860tu have the inserts for screws as part of the back case or if its a removable piece like the one that goes on the back of 9600m Gs.

    Im at work, so ill try later to post pictures of the my incompatible 9600m Gs heatsink for the 8800m Gtx. The question is where can i buy a heatsink compatible with the 8800m Gtx and/or the 9800m Gt/Gts(i assume those are the same), i also think the box where the card goes must be different too for reasons ill explain later...

    Does anyone have pics of the heatsink with a 9800m Gt or 8800m Gtx of the m860tu???including the vga case????
