    Just got done ordering some new stuff for my NP8150

    So last week I was fed up with my old Acer 5672 laptop. The laptop has served me well, but it is 6+ years old with a failing display (lines in the screen), and was long in the tooth when it came to multitasking. As a result I finally pulled the trigger and bought a used Sager NP8150 last week online for under $800.00 :D I had been spec'ing out a new laptop for the last month or so, but I couldn't justify the expense of over $1500.00 for a system. Thankfully someone needed to sell theirs and I swooped in and snatched it up. Now that it arrived here here safe and sound I figured I might as well pimp it out with some cool new stuff :)

    Seeing that it is black friday I purchased a bigfoot killer wireless n card from amazon today (ordered through mythlogic), an optical drive to hdd expansion bay, and a new Intel 510 series SSD. The laptop has a GTX460 which is a baseline card, so once the 580's drop to a reasonable price I'll swap it out for something newer.

    The laptop is great, and I couldn't be happier with this 15" monster. The previous owner took really good shape of it (purchased from xoticpc in May of this year) and everything is in mint condition. Xotic even will warranty the laptop after it has been sold (go Xotic PC!).

    After having the laptop for a day and typing on it, I'm really glad I decided to go used and get this laptop for almost 1/2 off. ;)

    Sager NP8150
    Intel i7 2630qm
    8GB Samsung Ram @ 1600mhz (2x 4GB sticks)
    500GB seagate momentous HDD (soon to be used as a spare once the SSD comes)
    Nvidia GTX 460m
    Intel Advanced-N 6230 wifi / bt combo card
    3 yr parts + labor warranty

    Again, the laptop is in mint condition. I took the bottom access panel off, pulled the cooling fans and cleaned them and pulled the keyboard and there isn't any dust, debris, or a scratch on this laptop :) Perhaps this is why Sager / Clevo laptops are so hard to find used :) I also enjoyed the ease of access to get into the laptop (4 screws and the whole thing comes right off)

    I would write a full scale review, but that ship has sailed and this laptop model is almost a year old (and who needs another NP8150 review) :D

    I'll try to throw some pictures together once everything is locked and loaded. I know that if I didn't tell you it was used, you'd never notice :)
