Man. This laptop is so awesome. I am totally in love with it.
I'm as giddy as a school girl!![]()

LoL.
(i was pretty giddy when i got mine, like a kid with a new cool toy)
Congrats for the new notebook.
When you are ready and have tried it out. Can you give us your impressions and a review of it?
That would be great for others interested in the same notebook to read your thoughts and comments in a review.
Get some digital pics of it, and some benchmarks of it to show to greatness of this notebook. -
Congratulations on the pruchase. I hope you enjoy it. I was like that when i got my new notebook. It wears off after about a week or two. As Gophn, write up a review. We can't have too many reviews, now can we.
-
I love to write a review, however i have no benchmarking software. I had some on a CD that came with a Maximum PC zine, but it was only a trial offer, which expired before i even installed it
Can anyone point me in the direction of some free benchmarking software? Also, i just ordered Company of heroes and Lineage 2. Ill use those for the benchmarking when they get here. -
Here are the guidelines:

follow a few example reviews for that notebook:

and

The benchmarks are all FREE for download and use.
And you can find the links for the recommended benchmarks on my thread too:

I just ordered mine, how long did it take for yours to get delievered to your home?
-
not counting the build time.. which is 1-3 days. -

Total time to build + ship for my Sager was 9 days, so not a long time at all.
-
Oh, ok well im on the West Coast (Vancouver, B.C, Canada) so it shouldn't be that long...
-
yea about 7-9 days would be about right
-
I'm still giddy whenever i load a new game on my 5760.
-
How good to games look? Can you run most of your games on meduim - high settings?
-
. even nvidia 7600 can cope with high graphics games.
-
I have a 7800 GTX which is approx 10-15% slower than the current 7900/7950 GTX.
It runs all games on native WUXGA resolution (1920x1200) at ultra high settings. And the performance does not seem to take a hit at all.
These Clevo notebooks are very well engineered for cooling... especially with the Fan speed (Fn+F2) command that toggles all fans in the notebook to either go on Auto or on Max speed. I always toggle to max speed when I game for efficient cooling. -
Wow, I reallyyyyy can't wait to recieve this laptop

Right now I'm playing Splinter Cell Chaos theory at 1680x1050 with all (and i mean ALL) settings on maximum and it runs smooth as glass. Granted that's not a brand new game. But it's got shader model 3.0 and it's mighty freakin pretty.
When I had FEAR installed it averaged 73 FPS with a minimum of 36, max 174 with everything except FSAA and Anisotropic maxed (don't remember what res)
Just got my 5760 in the mail!
