I just got my 9262 on Wednesday, and I must say I am impressed.
The service I got from XOTIC was bar none. On top of that they went beyond the call of duty and shipped my pc even though my sound card is on back-order, they fact they did that left me astonished.
In terms of the PC I cant say much about it in terms of performance because I have installed any games, but rest assured Warhammer, Crysis, and COD 4 will be going on soon!!!
Now if any 9262 owners would give me a bit of advice; Were the hell do I get the Vid drivers, I heard a while ago on this forum that there's a third-party site that distributes them.
On top of that is there anything else I should know of, like programs, and special care?
Thnx in advanced guys, I'm so happy that I finally joined the Sager club!!!!

Congrats on the new beast.
The latest drivers are in the 177.xx section.
the latest official Clevo drivers are in the 175.xx section. -
read the stickie for driver installation guide. and congrats!
that q9650 is a bit of a waste though, since you can't overclock it too far on a laptop -
Ohh thnx guys. Sorry about that I understand how it is when people ask q's without reading everything first, but I am not lying I did not see that sticky.
Yeah the 9650 may be a waste, but it was either that, a blue ray drive, or a 9800 GT SLI set up. The way I saw it, better blue ray drives will come out later for less, I can SLI the GTX later on, and the proc is something that is always inside the pc, (that I wouldn't want to diy on my laptop). I wont disagree with you though the performance doesn't merit the price. But eyy it's a 9650, plus it's kinda funny that my laptop is as fast as my desktop. Which has a 9850 and two 4870s. lol
I still cant stress how happy I was buying from XOTIC PC. They even took into account that I was so hesitant to get my laptop, and as I said in another post. They went ahead and shipped it ahead of my sound card which is on back order, which they will later ship to me for free. -
I would love to see the benchies on your 9800m GTX. I am glad that you had a good experience with XoticPC because I may be buying a Sager NP5796 from them soon if my current Tishiba laptop dies again, and I hope Toshiba gives me a refund for it. I'm on the fence though about the 9800m GT vs. GTX, but I would probably end up getting the GTX anyway because of its speed
Happy gaming!

I was considering that processor for my 9262, but if there are ones better suited I'd love to know. -
whooohooo gratz.. darn nice setup there.. *drools*
umm.. you might wanna get certain stuff:
CPUID Hardware Monitor to keep track of temps
GPU-z to see your GPU status in game (in case of faulty card, etc)
HD tune to do some benchies or checks on your HDD..
maybe GPUz when you're showing off your laptop?? lols
and perhaps a notebook cooler.. i'm using the NC-2000 and it works fine. gives the laptop a longer lifespan..
special care.. umm.. clean the fans every week if you're in a dusty place.. or else once a month SHOULD be fine.. there's a sticky on cleaning i THINK.. (i'm getting forgetful)
umm.. that's all i can think for now.. so once again, gratz, and welcome to the family!

The only successful OC in this notebook was the "pin mod" with the Q6600. -
Well wouldn't the q9650 will be sufficient running at standard clock speeds?
-
still kills all of the mobile Core 2 Duo's. -
I currently use the 177.92 drivers from laptopvideo2go, but I use the Clevo optimized ones. That driver pack also included the latest PhysX drivers. The optimized drivers have given me slight performance gains in all my games.
Welcome to the NP9262 family! -
welcome to the family.
im using 177.98 drivers from laptopvideo2go. and physx 8.08.
cpu/gpu/hd temp monitoring is done by everest meter with a vista gadget
additional gpu monitoring done by rivatuner.
gpuz to test whether sli is active
Just got my 9262
