Should I update or stay with 306.23?

    Duh, I'm tired. It's a Sager NP9170 with a 680m.

MrDj those hiccups are like stutter? well i also have those with any driver that came after 302.77. This are the only one stable.

Stay with the stock driver. Don't update to 306. It sucks for the 680m.

Try it and see how it works for you. Of course it depends on what you play. BF3 is my main game at the moment, and all 306's have stuttering issues for me. Played with vsync, triple buffering, both from the in game console variable and from the nVidia settings, and it is pretty bad.

Stock packaged drivers (302.92) from Clevo haven't brought up any issues, no crashes, visual anomalies, stuttering etc. and I'm loving it.

So i'm not the only one to notice this. Strange most useres say that 306 makes everything smooth when i see stutter. Maybe they never tried the 302 driver.

all drivers have been smooth for me but im still getting regular crashes back to desktop with sound loop in B3
another member has tried the same drivers on his lappy and he doesnt have crashes so go figure. all other games have been fine and play on max for me.

mysn brought this to my attention of the sound causing the crashes. changed in game from highest setting to tv setting and must admit i did manage one full game without a crash but then every other game after that crashed again. >> Sound loop crash (total lockup manual restart) every session - Page 2 - Electronic Arts UK Community

I'm using 305.53 modded from Laptoptogo.corm Seeing if maybe my persistent and constant BSOD was GPU driver related.
