Cool beans. Be sure to post some benchmarks!

RAID 0 with two SSDs ... you like to live on the edge. Doubling your chance of losing all your data, but assuming this is just for gaming so wouldn't be the end of the world. My 8170 is also a work comp so had to play it safe and keep the 500GB for backup. You'll have some crazy fast load times that's for sure.

Well this is a gaming rig only. I have a desktop to handle my VMware related work. As for the back up I have a 3 tier system that runs in my house totaling 10TB. I lost my last hard drive due to me dropping it and cost me $1,600 to recover 80% of the data. Lesson learned

My next project is this, I have the case and everything needed but the hard drives. I use the money for a laptop instead. so have to save again to complete the build

    Amazing config! ^^

Just one comment: As far as I know if you set up SSD on a RAID arrangement you lost the TRIM function, even if you do not realize any difference on the speed at the beginning, eventually you will see a drop in performance of around 80%, I really don't know how big would that be in terms of performance since a RAID 0 on SSDs its extremely fast, but ATM I'm using a Crucial M4 and I'm quite pleased with the OS speed and some games that I have installed there (everything load 5 times faster), I kinda wanted to get a second M4 but then I read about this and got another 500 GB 7200 RPM instead.

    Enjoy! =D

I'd be very careful with those OCZ drives, they had compatibility issues with Clevos before, though this was supposedly fixed with updated firmware.
