Congrats with the purchase. Good choice. But one question: Why didnt you buy 4 GB ram, 2X2GB, or 2X1GB? Dual channel boosts your systems performance!

very marginal (~2-5%) at best. -
But what about 4 GB ram? -
Dual channel has not been as significant since the Pentium 4 and Athlon XP days.
The 4GB of RAM is plenty, most people wont even use that much. -
DDR was good back when 2 gig was alot
