Why not wait a bit for the GTX 260M. ;)

Haha, yeah I thought about that, but I have waited long enough. If I keep waiting for the next big thing, I will never actually buy a laptop! Besides, I am not too concerned with having to have the latest and greatest. The performance from the current set up should do me just fine for quite a while. ... I hope!!

Yup, April 3rd is a long way. The 9800M should do you well. Congrats!

Xotic is a great vendor. I've had a great experience with them. Best service out there as far as I can tell.

Powernotebooks is supposed to be just as good. I'll definitely have a hard time deciding between the two when I get my M860TU.

With the Np8662 with GTX 260M and Quad Core on the way and the NP8660 being phased out, I decided to wait and canceled my order.

I think there is a difference between waiting for ever and waiting for just a month or two. I think it will be very worth while.

Well it turned out that Xotic automatically "upgraded" my order to the new NP8662 shortly after I posted this. I just forgot to come back and post that info! I will have to wait a little longer, but that is no big deal at this point.

So far I have had a great experience with Xotic. Everyone I have dealt with has been very patient, helpful and friendly. A very enjoyable experience overall, so far! :)

I'm sure you will love the new laptop even more with the GTX 260, and waiting a month is not too bad considering that the GTX 260M will blow a 9800M GTS out of the water while running cooler.
I'll be waiting for your review when your baby comes in.
    Congrats! :D
