Yeah I figure I'll get mine next week sometime. I accually can't wait. This laptop that I am using now is old. It's a 1.3ghz with 128mb or ram, 30gb HDD and an 8mb video card. I figured it was time for a replacement.

Yeah, you should be getting it pretty quick. The biggest delay with mine was waiting for the eCheck to clear (there was a weird delay between Xotic's acceptance of the eCheck and them sending out the order). But once they sent the order out for building and testing, it shipped in less than 36 hours.

    Order date: April 7
    Delivery date: April 22

Good build there Brandan. I am wishing I had gone with the Q6600 instead of the E6850 as well because I want to try what Dexgo did with overclocking his but maybe I am safer this way. I now use my lappy more than my desktop because she is the faster one now...my desktop only has one 8800 GTX and 2 gigs of ram.

Let me know how it is DazzyD. I'm kinda jelous i'm still working out the kinks with the alt address thing that i thought i had covered. Apperently my credit union doesn't use alt billing and sending addresses. I hope this is a good build my computer is so slow right now. what you expect from a 8mb video card though eh? I'll see how it goes for tomarrow on the billing issue. Justin W was a big help but i think i'm far our of hands here for him helping me atm. It's up to their accounting side now.

Yeah i wanted to wait but really there isn't a reason too. Apps today and a few years down the road will work fine. Games on the other hand will continue to use stronger PC's. Any computer you buy is obsolete the day you buy it I learned this many many years ago.

I too placed an order (4/11/2008)for the NP9262 thru xotic PC. And today I found out the price went down on the CPU so a quick call to the customer service and I was told to email the service department what I wanted. I was able to get an upgrade from a q6600 to a q6700 for the same amount of money I paid 2979 including shipping with the cash discount.

    Here is my config:

    -1900X1200
    -8800 gtx (non-sli)
    -200gb sata 300
-vista ultimate 64bit (they wont install 32bit)
    -q6600 upgraded to q6700 (on 4/22/2008)

I just listed the options I was able to order or choose since everyone else knows the laptop. According my account it should ship this week after the burn in, hopefully the change of order did not delay my laptop.

    BAH.

i need your help fellas i am trying to install vista x64 on my machine but this is what happens

put cd in it detects the cd. boots into the cd then asks whether to install x86 or x64 version.
i click x64 it goes to another screen then says loading files

after it finishes, then it restarts and goes back to the sager startup screen. it tries to boot back off the cd but the message says invalid disk try again and thats it.. can go any further..

am i doing something wrong or is there some settings i have to play with. i have used this same disc to load vista x64 on my desktop

Mine dropped $100 in price after it shipped, lol. Oh well, still an amazing rig.

    @dazzyd:

That's weird, my Vista has 86 & 64 on separate discs.
