Well, after alot of searching for a laptop I finally found the NP2090 and ordered it. I was getting pretty dismayed as I had a 1400$ budget and could not find a good combo of hardware to run my needs and stay within budget and was afraid I was going to have to settle. I tend to game and browse alot so my mobile needs were hard to please.

Im very glad I came to these forums, the posts here have been very helpful and led me to find the 2090. The NP2090 looks like such a sweet deal for the money. 2gb ram, T7300, and a 512mb 8600GT for 1400$??? And a sweet LCD to boot? It was the perfect find.

I ordered from XoticPC, never used them before but from what I can read out of Justins post it seems to be a company worthy of business. I just hope it doesn't take too long to get it. I know Im at the back of the line. :( Very excited, cant wait to get it.

yea, congratz. I plan on ordering one of these soon also. I still cant believe how inexpensive these machines are! DX10, C2D, 2GB RAM, High res lcd, and everything else you configured for only $1400? Great stuff, I think the future is bringing cheaper, better laptop finally.

Is the 8600m GT GDDR3 or 2? Because you got the same model I was looking at, but this was a question I had about it.
