3DMark Score - 9336 3DMarks
SM 2.0 Score - 3749
SM 3.0 Score - 3828
CPU Score - 3454
On the rig in my sig.
-
Hmm, you should have gotten 1200-1300 more points on the SM score. Have you checked for high performance?
-
I'm in High Performance mode running off AC power. Everything is set to max in Power Options.
-
I get a 3d Mark score of 9700 on my np9262 using a single 9800 GT and an E8500 CPU with Vista Home Premium as my OS. Seems like you may need to do some tweeks with Windows 7 to get your score up a little.
-
I get around 10400 with a single 9800 M GT but I do have a Quad 9650
-
Those scores are comparable with others that have been posted for that system.
-
No, not really. Look at my score, the SM scores are 26% better than his.
-
a little well known issue with 3dmark/nvidia cards/quad core cpu's...
your 2.0/3.0 scores will always be lower.
try running it in dual core and see what you get for those same 2.0/3.0 scores.
you'll notice a bit of a change in them
run off of cores 2/3 only -
Johnksss is right, and what he says is especially true for the Q6600/6700. The Q6600 "pin mod", however, seems to correct the problem to some degree.
-
You have a different computer, different CPU, and a different GPU.
How is that "comparable"?
Color?
-
Because its minor differences, and of course the color helps
No really, we have the same GPU and the GPU-part of his test is off campared to mine. -
According to your sigs you have a 9800M GT and he has an 8800M GTX. Even if your GPUs are comparable, though, the CPU has a substantial impact on SM2/3 scores at the low default resolution of 3DMark06. Remember that, in addition to being quite slow, the Q6600 had a FSB speed 30% slower than duals and the new quads.
-
The 9800M GT is exactly the same as the 8800M GTX, it is simply a renaming done by nvidia. Their GPUs are not comparable, they are identical.
Just ran 3DMark06 with Windows 7 RC...
