I may be behind on my intel a wee bit, but i don't think too many people have received the 660m in a 150em yet. I just wanted to lend a hand to a forum that has helped me decide on my laptop. If you have specific questions about the graphics card, let me know (and give me help on how to answer it, tech level is medium high.).
What I CAN tell you right now is that I got 250 frames per second constant in call of duty 4 on my HD 5850 / Q9550 combo (slight overclock on both). With this setup in my laptop, stock, I get 180-200fps at the same settings.

I think the major curiosity regarding the 660m is probably battery life gain.

If you just wanted a 660M, why didn't you just get a P151EM?
-
And 660m is 50$ cheaper than 670m and the performance difference between the two is minimal. OP can certainly OC and pass the 670m stock clock mark.
-
EDIT: didn't refresh the tab
-
Basically, how well it plays games and the temps and any overclocking info is appreciated. If you happen to have specific games you could test, I'm most interested in StarCraft II and Battlefield 3. Where did you get a P150EM with a 660M though? Thanks!
-
Bro are you sure it's NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660M (Kepler) 1.5GB GDDR5, isn't it 2GB GDDR5??
-
-
OK thx for the confirmation
-
660m fps in games please
-
if its 1.5gb he might have the ddr3 version
-
I don't know if anyone has tested whether the Kepler chips support three external monitors (Fermi didn't). Could you test and see if you can use three external displays at the same time? Thanks!
edit: nm, looks like Mythlogic tested it and they were not able to get three external displays to work. -
What kind of noise levels are you getting from performing regular tasks (such as browsing the internet or typing papers) and while you are playing games?
-
Also, better battery life never hurt anyone.. especially if I plan on selling this when I get back from my trip, newer tech = lower depreciation.
2.the P150EM is the lower version of the P150EM-SE on the Malibal website.
-
The whole p150em and p150em SE thing that Malibal is confusing. At first glance it makes you think that both are built on the Clevo p150em chassis, but one is the p151em.

Once you do run the benchmarks for SC2/anything else relatively demanding, would you mind checking on the peak CPU/GPU temperatures?
Also, would you mind elaborating a bit on the quality of the fan noise during gaming (ie. if it's a high-pitched whine, or lower-pitched blow?)
Many thanks! -
Same here, CPU/GPU temps under various situations pls. Ty !
-
Can it run tf2 max settings? list fps
Can it run BF3 max settings? list fps
Can it run Portal 2 max settings? list fps
Basically can you check fps for most played games?
OH! and temps while running these tests. -
So, are these all the same cards? I didn't know there were 3 variations for the same thing. If there are these 3, what would the performance difference be? -
According to Wiki it's mean to be 2gb, ( Comparison of Nvidia graphics processing units - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. BUT according to the nvidia page they only sell the chip for the 660's series and that it's up to the manufacturers (like clevo and etc.) to decide how much memory goes on it.

What kind of FPS do you get in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat?
Just received my P150EM with an IB processor and 660m. Any questions?
