After about a two week wait from order to delivery (pretty fast for a custom in my book), I finally received the machine in my sig. Everything seems to be in one piece, no nasty blemishes or nicks in the chassis.

I have since loaded up Windows 7 and done a bit of gaming and general use with the machine. The only odd thing about the computer is the numpad, since it has a strange layout compared to some other numpads I've used. It's not necessarily bad, I just need to get used to it. Also the internal sound card is mediocre but that's to be expected for a laptop. A Fiio E7 may be my next purchase.

As for actual performance, this thing can game like a champ. It makes me so happy that I can play Skyrim with decent eye candy enabled. The 95% gamut screen is a beauty to boot, definitely a huge improvement over the crappy screen on my Dell 1545.

TheChillburger, how long did it take for your machine to build and to ship? Xotic doesn't seem to have an estimated build time feature on their website, and I'd like a data point.

He said two weeks.. Also I ordered mine on Dec 21st and according to tracking it will arrive on Jan 3, that is with Christmas and New Years falling in there. Took roughly 1 week to build and another to ship.
