    Hi everyone,

I recently "upgraded" the M590K KBC/H8 firmware from v1.01 S1 to Eurocom's v1.01. I lost the FN+1 max fans due to this and GetThermal now makes things reboot. If anyone has any M590K keyboard (KBC) firmware updates please let me know. Or you can attach them here or PM me. Thanks in advance! :)

Cyberpower is not a great reseller.

Although I know that they are not an authorized Clevo distributor (just a reseller of barebones/systems from the following). They probably got that notebook from either:
    - Sager
    - Pro-Star
    - Eurocom

If you want, PM me the serial number and I'll know just by looking at it.

Or read this, I went over it already.

Yeah, I noticed CyberPower's lack of their advertised 24/7 tech support as nobody answers or replies. This notebook was bought from an auction but found out it was CyberPowerPC.

I wasn't sure if I could contact Sager/Pro-Star/Eurocom/etc. since it was bought from CyberPower. Good to know, I'll take a look at the serial and give the proper distributor a contact. Thanks. Helpful as always. :)

    Hmm, no luck.
Sager referred me to a contact at mediawavepc.com which is the reseller to CyberPowerPC. I'll give mediawavepc some time, but I have a feeling I'm going to have a hard time getting the BIOS/KBC updates. :(
On a side note, Sager was very quick to respond with the correct information I needed.

They're having a hard time finding the original keyboard bios/firmware that originally came with the notebook. If anyone has the M590K / NP5950 keyboard (KBC) bios version "1.01 S1" please PM me!

Hopefully a kind company such as XoticPC / PowerNotebooks can find it for me. :)

Otherwise I might be screwed. :(

I would just suggest to key a new [or working] and swap it with yours.

Its a standard keyboard that the following models use:
    -D900T (D9T)
    -D900K
    -M590K
    -M590KE

    Part number:
    MP-03753US

    Price:
    $40-130

I would recommend to contact Sager, to ask if you can just order a replacement keyboard. If that does not work, contact:
    - Pro-Star
    - Eurocom
    - RJtech

Kind of sad the firmware and BIOS are so hard to find sometimes for certain clevo models. Most require warranties and proof of purchase.

Thanks for the suggestion, it's not a bad idea. :)

See my other new thread of a whole new problem with this beasty notebook. :p
