I somehow keep losing my film and software partition on my laptop. It happened the first time when I was reinstalling Vista, I deleted the XP and Vista partitions and when I proceeded to restart to install Vista again, I found my entire 128gb partition I'd assigned to films and software missing. Further, the former 20gb partition xp had was now unusable and I couldn't create a new partition.

This morning, I woke up to find that same partition missing. I checked disk management, and the 128gb space was showing up as free space. I don't know why this is happening, or what I should do about it. I've contacted xoticpc just now, and considering it's night time in the States, I trust I'll get an answer and hopefully a solution soon.

Right now I'm trying out Easeus Data Recovery Wizard Professional. Anything else I should do?
