    Hi everyone!

I have a Sager NP 9150 running Windows 10 and am experiencing some issues with the keyboard.

Normally pressing Fn + "/" and Fn + "*" controls the ability to turn the backlight on and open up the Sager color customization window.

This hasn't been working for me for a while now - I can't turn the backlight on nor can I customize the colors. The / and * keys work perfectly though.

Does anyone know of a fix?

    Thanks!

Do you have the latest Hotkey software installed?

    Reinstall hotkey in compatibility mode.

    Try this.

I don't think the EM series received BIOS treatment for Windows 10; that's probably why you're running into this problem.

Thanks for the answers. I tried the above steps and all it did was help bring back the original blue light of the keyboard. I could only switch it on and off, but couldn't go into any options. I went ahead and uninstalled the Hotkey version I had, then went to the Sager Website to look for drivers. They actually had a Win 10 version of Hotkey so I installed it. It didn't do anything - my backlight is not on anymore and I cannot even run the "runme.exe" file (even as admin). What else can I do?

I extracted the files under "Data1.cab" to desktop, then opened up "Hotkey.exe", and all of a sudden the backlight turned on and I could toggle the options screen

Then I messed around with some colors, exited out, tried again and this time it did not come up.

I can still turn the light on and off, but when I try to get to the customization menu I can see the little loading icon by the cursor but nothing happens

That's not it. It should look like: xx.xx.xx (01.03.05, for example)

You can find it in the BIOS setup on the "Main" tab, about half way down the page.

    I've got
    1) 4.6.5
    and
    2) 1.00.05LS2 (BIOS Revision)

    Is one of those correct?
