Hello!
I was working away on my 5760 last night at home, and my cat decided to pounce on my keyboard right out of the blue.
As I pulled him off, one of his claws snagged the " +" key on the number pad, and snapped it off.
The key saddle mechanism looked much more complicated than I expected - there's some square, hinged saddle bars surrounding the rubber flex cone - and the keypad itself has what appears to be 2 sliding locks at the bottom, and 2 grips at the top.
It was incredibly challenging to attempt to re-seat the keypad, as it looks like you need to slide the keypad locks down and towards you before snapping the grips into place.
The rubber flex cone made this nigh-impossible for me to do.
I was also terrified to push very hard or make many attempts - because the locks and the grips on the keypad seem so tiny and breakable.
I was finally able to snap it back into place, but it doesn't perform like before.
It sits 1-2mm lower than the other keys, has less travel distance, and doesn't have as strong a spring-resist to depressing it as before.
It does work however, and isn't "stuck".
I think it will work as-is, but i'm concerned that it may be seated improperly and might eventually pop back off or suffer a shortened lifespan.
I couldn't find any instructions or diagrams online for the proper way to seat/replace these things - any advice is appreciated.
Maybe they can be popped off and on repeatedly with no worries about damage - or maybe I should leave it well enough alone at this point...
Thanks in advance for any replies!

I don't know if this will help much:
Look here for instructions on how to replace an Asus keyboard. I don't know how similar it would be to a Sager one though (and I don't have my sager here with me).
