I got my NP5165 a few days ago and one of the few complaints i have had is the layout of the navigational keys and arrow keys.

    Problem
PgUp, PgDn, Home, and End keys don't have their own keys on the keyboard. They are overlayed onto the up/down/left/right arrow keys. You have to press the Fn key + Left Arrow Key, for example, to invoke Home key, and you have to press Fn + Up Arrow to invoke Pg Up.

This is annoying because I use those navigational keys a LOT to nagivate through text. There are also keyboard shortcuts that use PgUp/PgDn in Excel and in browsers (similar to alt+tabbing through apps, but to switch between browser tabs or Excel worksheets). I also write code for a living so I use Ctrl+Home and Ctrl+End a lot, and also Ctrl+Shift+End to highlight text to the end of a line, as well as various other shortcuts that involve these keys. Having to throw the Fn key into the mix to continue using these shortcuts was too annoying (I tried for a couple of days).

    Solution
I found an app called SharpKeys that lets you remap what the keyboard keys mean. Remapped the arrow keys to do what the blue text on them says (so it's effectively like Fn key is automatically pressed for me before I press any of the arrow keys).

If I do need arrow keys, I toggle numlock and use the arrows on the 10-key area of the keyboard.

I hope that Sager/Clevo fix this issue in their future keyboard layouts, because it's one of the few, but very annoying problems with their laptop series.

If NumLock is off, the keypad keys serve as the arrows, pgup/pgdown, home/end.
