Keyboard heat makes "W" key pressed when its not.

So I had this laptop for a while and the problem I get from this laptop is that the W key holds itself even after letting go and stays like this for a good 2-3 seconds. It gets really annoying when playing games. I notice this issue happens only when computer is building up heat, because regular typing works normally, including holding. (NOTE: The Temperature during gaming tends to be between 70-80 Celsius while regular use/idle is around 30-40 Celsius)

I was told this was a Keyboard issue and since I have no warranty I had no choice but to buy a spare keyboard. After replacing it, its back to normal, but after 3-4 months later the issue has returned once more. I have already checked out that this isn't a software issue. I found another thread with this exact problem and apparently this is probably a design flaw from Sager's part. This is the first time I ever had an issue like this on a laptop and this also is my first Sager Laptop, so this is making me not wanting to get another one in the future...but back on the issue:

I cleaned up my laptop of dust and re-added thermal paste once more. However, I don't want to buy another Keyboard, because I fear its just going to repeat the issue again. What I decided to do was pry out the keyboard but kept it connected. I decided to play it loose and away from where the Laptop builds up heat. After 4 hours of gaming, the problem hasn't appeared at all. So this confirms that the issue has to do with the heat between the laptop keyboard and the laptop itself. I cannot just leave my laptop keyboard dangling, I think Its best that I add something between them.

So I'm wondering what would be good material to add between the Laptop's Keyboard and the Laptop itself? Plastic sheet? Aluminum foil? Any Ideas?

I wouldn't use aluminium foil, its conductive. You might end up killing your laptop.

From what you describe, you want something that doesn't lead heat into the keyboard. Something along the lines of compressible 1/8" foam that would act as a barrier between the two surfaces.

 

yeah figured It will. Just throwing out good and bad ideas. Compressible foam...hmm..gonna have to check around to see if I have that somewhere...

I see improvements during gaming as it doesn't happen, but I can feel the pressing still there. Will I require a special kind of foam or is there alternatives? So far this is the closest I can get to having the "W" key not to hold on its own.
