    HI there,
So I received my Clevo p170em from my reseller (PCSpecialist UK) and the O, P and [ keys are swapped around. I have contacted them and they are sending me a new keyboard. I know how to access the keyboard and remove it, but how do you detach the cable from the MB? I don't want to risk using any force on it. There are 2 cables (1 for the lights and 1 for the keys) is the detaching the same for both cables? and how do you do it??

Any help would be appreciated as I need to remove it by Wednesday (I.e. tommorow!)

    Thanks!!
    Pandanasbearz

You should be able to use a small, flat head screwdriver and gently push the black tab forward in the direction of the ribbon cable (it should have ears on it) on the left and right side of the ribbon cable. Alternate sides as you pry on it little by little.
That clip just slides out a little distance and then you can remove the ribbon cable.
