    Keyboard or Virus? help

    for some reason as im typing my keyboard will jump back like an entire sentence. Is this a common problem or could it be virus related?

    Any chance you are hitting the touchpad while typing?

    Restart your browser. If that doesn't do it reboot. if it persists I'd say it is hardware realted, not a virus.

    Make sure the "home" key isn't broken.

    my home key isfine but my FN button is broken. im not touching my touch pad. ill have all 10 fingers on the keyboard and it skips back. I have a launch NP8660 and it just started skiping back a few months ago.

    if your warranty is still valid, try to get the keyboard replaced...

    You can try un-installing your keyboard and re-installing it. (unplug the ribbon and plug it back in. Normally this happen is your wrist brushes up against the touch pad. I know I have done it a number of times.

    Yeap the same thing happened to me yesterday while writing emails, but it a was user error as Justin said my palm was lightly brushing up against the touchpad.....
