    Hey,

I've had a key that usually takes an extra hard strike to work. Today I took off the key and looked on the bottom side of the key and discovered there was a round clear plastic sticker on it. Removed it, now the registers wit a light touch.

Just throwing that out there, maybe help anyone.

Yes it was, and it's the same keyboard on your P170EM.

ahh ok, thanks for clarifying that,
there's a program to test key registration, can't remember what it was.
My keys are find it's just the ghosting that's the problem, i can't hit multiple keys at once.

Dumb question, but how exactly did you take the key out? I'd like to try it but I don't want to break a clip or anything.

Just pulled it off, done it a bunch on these keys. These keys and clips are made well I think.
