I just pulled both keyboards from each of the models
and came up with these numbers:

    D901C May 08
    Model: MP-03753US-4305L
    Ven: Chicony
    P/N: 6-80-D90C0-010-1
    Lang: USA

    5797 w/280m April 09
    Model: MP-03753US-4305L
    Ven: Chicony
    P/N: 6-80-D90C0-010-1
    Lang: USA

There's of course a serial number which wouldn't mean much, and then another number with no label. But just in case someone want's to replace one, there's the proof.

Would it do us any good to have a index of keyboards and their numbers? There are the service manuals though.

Has anyone else called in to get a replacement?
Do you go through Sager or the reseller in you're still in the first 30 days? I'm thinking about trying to get one before making a decision.

Also, rubber band mod still seems to be fine. Nothing's melted and if anything, if I end up keeping the unit, I might glue the bands in place since they seem to move around in some areas more than others.

this thread is not really needed.

Clevo has been using the same Chicony keyboard in their 17" systems for years.

... even said it in the Clevo Guide.
