I noticed that a lot of Sager notebooks don't have the plus, minus, or the enter key on their keypads. Is there a specific reason for this? I can understand that it can get annoying that you can't add or subtract or enter your computations on the keyboard.

Are you mad, man? I think you need to get your eyes checked, my friend. All keyboards have one +, -, and enter key. Full size keyboards with a full keypad have two +, -, and enter keys.

And I thought my vision was going bad.

    /thread.

OK, now first of all I said those icons have to be on the keypad, which is everything to the right of the arrow keys and backspace key. Second of all, most Sagers I have seen, such as this one

    http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np9280-built-clevo-d900f-late-p-2577.html)

do not have a full keypad. I was only asking if this was a big inconvenience to people because it is weird that you can multiply/divide but can't add/subtract or enter without reaching to the left.

    No you didn't.

Your premise is arguing that Sager notebooks that have full size keyboards with keypads on the right of the arrow keys do not have the +, -, or enter key. Additionally, Sager notebooks that do not have full size keyboards with keypads do not apply apply here.

It looks like it has a full keypad to me. I can see the +, -, and enter key.

For some it's an inconvenience. And for others, including me, it's not. I use a full size standard keyboard and I never use the keypad for anything other than pageup and pagedown.

The clevo keypad DOES have the +, - & enter keys, they just aren't in quite the normal position:

I can only assume the last word should of been keypad, otherwise you really are getting quite confused.

That computer does have a full keypad, as does my D901C. Care to actualyl find an image showing the keyboard to try and illustrate your point?

I think he was looking at the general shots (like on the page he linked) so he could see that the 4th column was missing, but could not see enough detail to notice that the keys from that column have been moved.

That is a strange keypad, and yes I did not see that those keys had been moved. Interesting. I guess it wouldn't be that bad, just have to get used to it. Thank you theriko for the only person to answer my question. Mods can close this thread now; question's answered.

And also, I said a lot of Sager notebooks, so "keypads" should be plural.

And I did mention that the plus, minus, and enter keys have to be on the keypad. A keypad is not a keyboard:

I would appreciate it if you do not correct my English.
