    Hey folks!

So I purchased a Sager NP9778-S with the Killer 1525 n/a/ac Wireless adapter, and I have been having lag spikes in everything, (BF4, Firefall, CS:GO, Titanfall, etc) which range from 5-17 seconds, and last around 500ms, causing my ping to rollercoaster from 50ms to 999ms, during these spikes.

I have already upgraded drives and firmware on the following:

    Router Linksys E900/N300 (Firmware)
    Killer Manager Suite (Full uninstall/reinstall)
    Windows Updates (Oct 19, 2015)

I have had this laptop around 5 days, and cannot seem to find a work around or fix.
I have contacted Sager, with the only remedy being a new card, which they will just swap if it fixes this.

    I have disabled Nvidia Streaming
Set up the battery options to what has fixed other cards in some different threads.
I have disabled Killer Network V2 in services

I have been searching for a fix for around 9 hours now, had to sleep and now I am here, asking if anyone has anything that might work.

    • Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M 6GB GDDR5
    • 6th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-6700K Processor
    • 16GB Dual Channel DDR4 at 2133MHz
    • 250GB Samsung 850 EVO M.2 SSD + 1TB 7200rpm HDD
    • Killer DoubleShot™ Pro (Integrated Killer E2400 Gigabit Ethernet LAN + Killer Dual Band Wireless-AC 1525 + Bluetooth, M.2) with Smart Teaming
    • Sound Blaster X-FI™ MB 5
    • Win7 Pro
This is what I have done so far, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Handsel, it's the performance filter feature that is failing you, I usually just uninstall it.

The Killer Suite installer can be run a 2nd time, after the reboot, to unconfigure the filter and the Killer Network Manager:

    Modify
killer suite installer 2nd run select modify.JPG

    Before
killer suite installer 2nd run unselect manager and filter and .NET.JPG

    After
killer suite installer 2nd run unselect manager and filter and .NET - after.JPG

This helped quite a bit, but I am still getting random rubber banding. The ping seems a bit more stable, but now its spikes around every 30-45 seconds.

Handsel, you rebooted after the last change? It may/may not ask, but you should always reboot when making driver changes.

You could have issues with DNS, are you using the ISP DHCP DNS discovered?

Handsel, if it is a local process, like a background download, virus check, indexing tool (windows, Cyberlink, other media indexer), then you will need to catch it when you see the lag, keep the Task Manager - Performance tab - Resource Monitor open to CPU/network/disk, and watch it while the lag is occuring - nail that app - reconfigure it's breadth of function, remove areas to index, disable indexing - and stop the lag :)

Is the lag in a game(s), video, or? It could be Nvidia settings otherwise defaulted. You said you disabled the Streaming process, but there are 2, and more than that, I disable all of them until I need to do an update:

manage - services - disable all but 1 nvidia services - stop too.JPG

And, the 3d performance setting defaults can help too:

dont forget to set it to use advanced 3d settings..JPG
    global 3d settings #1.JPG
    global 3d settings #2.JPG

Yes, I rebooted after killing the manager. Tested for 3 hours on BF4, and it returned. I will next try your suggestions that you have just given me. (No video lag discovered, only "rubber banding" during matches.

Handsel, you may need to continue debugging with BF4 support:

I read some of those articles, but it is in all my games, not just BF4. So I know it is the card, but I have also go through and attempted some of the fixes I found already. I will be back later today (because I need sleep) Thank you for all the help so far, hopefully we can get this bad boy resolved.

Have you tried restarting your router? The 1525 is a bit tempermental sometimes... I had issues earlier playing warships, rebooted and problem solved...

My router has been restarted around 12-15 times, normally every other "fix".

To bad the ole' faithful fix didn't come through! ;)

You could look into port forwarding through the router as I have had that help with gaming in the past - https://help.ea.com/en/article/online-ports-for-battlefield-4/

You may consider checking with your resller for if the card is still under warranty. BF4 has rubber banding issues (unfortunately) but if it's still happening through all of those fixes on other games, could go to just being a bad card. If your not under warranty, you might check for a place that has a generous return policy and see if replacing the card can fix it. I would double check the return policy for if it doesn't fix it and the issue goes deeper.
