I had a Killer Wireless 1202 before in my ASUS laptop and that darn card was full of issues not because of the card itself, but becasuse of the crappy Qualcomm Drivers.

Now when buying a new Sager, we have the option to choose either the Killer Wireless-AC 1525 or Intel Wireless-AC 7265

Which would you choose? Does the Killer Wireless 1525 also suffer from driver issues (blue screens, disconnections, etc) or is it better to go with the Intel option? I currently have the Intel AC7260 (revised edition) which is a newer than the original 7260 and it has been nothing but great, not a single disconnection and very low ping rates according to speedtest.net (4ms)

Those Qualcomm drivers were giving me problems back in 2012 with my 1103 and it doesn't sound like it got any better for you in 2014.

My 1103 is gathering dust in my parts bin while my Intel card and the Intel drivers are humming along just fine.

In my latest build I just ordered from Mythlogic, I chose the Intel card rather than the Killer because I don't have faith in the Qualcomm drivers.

Your mileage may vary. The 7260 AC drivers got a lot of flack also. It's cliche to say it, but to each their own experience.

I bought the 7260 revised edition and been using the 17.0.6 drivers since day one, not a single disconnect and the ping rate on speedtest.net is 4 ms

The latest 7265 drivers are good, but the earlier windows 8.1 64-bit drivers from intel had a LOT of issues. On multiple laptops from different companies. Luckily it's been resolved, and big picture, Intel is very reliable for having good wifi/drivers in the long term (W10, etc.)

Hum, a little bit off topic, but how much ram/CPU does the killer utility software uses ? i'm always worried of these soft, as i have already 100Mo of ram used by Razer synapse and sound blaster....i prefer "light" programms :)
