Someone with a M17x was complaining that they had to keep RMA'ing them because they always showed errors in Memtest. I have 6 sticks and 2 showed up with errors in memtest which I'm RMA'ing.

Almost seems like the latest batch coming out of newegg has some issue.

I dont know but I think the modules I have now came from a different batch since I had to wait 2 weeks for "production" as Kingston stated it.

I just bought a new set of HyperX. I didn't buy the 1066Mhz pack because they are being phased out and I don't want to have troubles again. So I bought the 1333 MHz which unfortunately uses CL6 at 1066 MHz not CL5. I've made a 20 minute stress test with prime95 and they seemed to pass just fine.

Were you able to try it on a Clevo W860CU as well?

This is the point that Kingston didn't want to admit : It is not safe to go behind the JEDEC-E standard (CL6 for 1066MHz).
