Nice, but it states that the GPU is NVidia 285M, is that correct?

thats been mentioned on the kobalt forum as well. will have to wait for Neil to clarify which card it comes with.

it could be a mistake on the 15" as the 17" has the 330

Yup, it's just a simple error on the configuration page. Both the GS510 and GS710 have GT 330 GPUs.

So in terms of build quality, is there any difference between a Kobalt GS510 and a Sager NP5125 ?

Regarding the battery life some tests have been done in the Sager NP5125 thread. If I remember well, someone managed to get a little more than 2 hours while playing a video with the weak battery ( there is an option to upgrade the battery )

So what's the difference between the GS510 and GS710?

The only difference I can spot is the GS510 can have either a (bizarre) 1366 x 768 or 1920x1080 HD 15.6in screen, wereas the GS710 has only the 1920x1080 15.6in screen. All other config choices are the same.

If you choose the 1920x1080 HD screen for the GS510 it's the same as the GS710, but approx. £70 cheaper.

Just spotted the config is wrong for the GS710. It's should say 17.3in screen (as on the model description page), not 15.6in.

still says 15" on the 17" config page. kobalt are aware of this and working on it now.

Hi all, as MrDJ mentioned we're working on the website as I speak. We made a couple of major changes to the website over the last few days (you may notice that the whole site has a different look so we are just catching the tail end niggles before it's 100% finished).

Just to confirm, the GS510 (built off the B5100) is the 15" version and the GS710 (built off the B7110) is the 17" model.
