i was among the first to get the 5793 when it first started shipping. from then until now ive noticed an increased amount of bubbles coming up in my LCD. only way i can describe it is like when u put a protective screen on something, you trap air bubbles in it. it looks alot like that.

the bubbles have gotten so bad that they are almost covering my whole screen and are about half inch distance away from eachother.

are there any fixes other than sending it back, is there a protective covering im not seeing? and has this happend to anyone else?

ill try to post pictures later if i can

EDIT: i got the matte screen

u got the matte screen. Which, i believe for both the 9260 and yours is just the glossy screen with a protective coating to stop glare... so yes, look for the edges of a protective coating

well yea, they put it on good cuz its "Supposed" to actually be a MATTE screen, so your not even supposed to know the film is there.. What, You dont trust mE?!? you need a confirmation?!! im INSULTED! lol jk :D
i mean, i hope someone can confirm for me... i think im rite
plus, if you think about, where else could the bubbles come from, they cant come from inside the LCD itself....

If there is any protective foil over the screen, they probably placed the screen rim over the edges, so you will never be able to see it unless you remove the screen rim..
