My LCD cable needs replacement, I have opened the laptop and confirmed the cable is the issue.

I am having troubles locating a spare cable. The specs on the cable are

    W330SU2 LG LVDS
    6-43-w3301-041-p
    hl 140731 (B41)

I have searched on aliexpress and found an eDP cable so it's not compatible. How and where do I find a spare cable?

Might be easier to get the eDP cable and panel.

thank you for the suggestion but how do I know that will be compatible with the board.
The current panel works fine, it seems a waste to replace the LCD just because of a cable. I can't believe there's not a replacement cable, there must be. Do you have any direct contact at Clevo?

@Sir Punk You should have a part number somewhere on the cable. Take that to your seller or one of the few other Clevo sellers that supply parts. You can also try one of the Clevo contracted service centers (not the U.S branch).

Thanks for the suggestion but I am not sure how to find Clevo sellers in different countries.

Sorry but I still don't understand how this makes sense. eDP and LVDS connectors are different, I can't buy an eDP panel and mount it on a board that has a LVDS connector unless I use an adapter. Is that what you are suggesting?

Boards a lot of the time have both, especially if you say the EDP is more common.
