    These companies should perhaps invest in the US for once. We've got 10% unemployment and I'm sure many would be happy to assemble computers.

    I am all for bringing jobs to the U.S., but I wonder how many here would be against it when they realize their $3000 laptop would cost $3500 because someone is making $10 an hour putting it together versus $1 a day.

    Outsourcing this to USA is NEVER gonna happen unless the dollar becomes near worthless, or if people are willing to start working for $1/hour, neither of which I see happening anytime soon.

    I was thinking the very same thing When I started reading this thread.

    The problem also is weather or not you could get enough people willing to take the $10 hour in this country to begin with.
