Hi, I am in the market for a new laptop and am most likely going to be purchasing a Sager np9150 from xotic in a few months. I game pretty heavily and play a lot of Starcraft 2. I am also probably going to be playing Guild Wars 2 and Diablo 3 when they come out. The build I'm looking at for exotic is pretty much the stock build with the downgraded RAM option and a Windows 7 Home OS which comes out to be around $1349. I'm on a budget as a college student and am trying to keep this as cheap as possible so I want to ask if its worth it to shell out an additional $100 for the 675m or if I should stick with the 670m. Also does anyone know if xotic has any additional discounts besides the downgraded RAM option like for students or anything? Any help would be appreciated!

They do offer a NBR discount, and I believe they have student discounts available. I would chat with them as they are usually really friendly.
If you are on a tight budget and not looking to go with a 675m or 7970m and don't need a back lit keyboard, look into the NP9130.

In terms of if a 675m is worth the extra 100 bucks, that's up to you to decide. You can look up benchmarks between a 570m and 580m and decide what you think.

If you're trying to save cash, you should consider the NP9130. It would be $200 less than the NP9150 and you would only lose out on the backlit keyboard if you decided to go with the 670m.

I thought about the NP9130 but I also like the idea of being able to swap out my card for the 675 or 680 if I ever scrounge up the money for it. I'm also a sucker for backlit keyboards =/
