To add to what Thisisalamp stated, you might be better off saving up until you can afford the best setup for your money. While the x7200 is SLI capable and you can swap out MXM graphics cards- it's an extremely expensive upgrade yourself. MXM graphics cards can cost $500 and up depending on the model, which is usually 2x more than the cost of adding it off the bat.

It's always best to get the best CPU/GPU you can at first because while user replaceable, they'll always be a bit on the expensive end. Everything else in the laptop (RAM, HDD, screen, WiFi, etc) are all relatively easy and cheap to change out if needed.

The NP8180 as Thisisalamp mentioned will be the perfect fit. Under your budget and SLI already included. You can even bump up a few of the specs and be in our price point. It's going to be tough to find another SLI rig within your range.

Thanks for the advice guys, looks like i am going to get the sager 8180, only one more question though, Should I get a 120GB SSD drive as the primary and the 500GB (w/ 4GB SSD Memory) Seagate XT 7200RPM NCQ Hybrid as the secondary? Or, just two of the Seagates and RAID 0? greatly appreciated

There's no reason to get the hybrid as a secondary unless you plan to boot from it. The hybrid flash part of it only makes a difference when it's your primary drive. I'd say go with the 120GB SSD as your primary and just a regular HDD (500GB or 750GB) as your secondary. Even RAID won't be as fast as your SSD will be, and you'll get the benefit of storage + speed with the SSD/HDD option.

I second that. Once you experience the speed of an SSD, you will wonder how you ever survived on a regular HDD. Space can go pretty quick, especially on the smaller SSD, so externals are always an option, if you need more space.
