Just wondering if the NP8662 will fit in a standard laptop jacket meant for 15.4 notebooks. I want something that is always on, so that I don't have to take it out of its case.

    Thanks!

Seems like it to me, I bought a backpack that fits up to 15 inch laptops, and it fits fine

Thanks. Im asking this because I briefly owned the Asus G50vt. It was on the bulky side, and almost had the same footprint as a 17" laptop.

I was thinking of the always on Shoreline series-

The 8662 is still build on the M860TU, so it has the same dimensions of the 8660, AFAIK.

    364mm(W) x 269.5mm(D) x 41(H)mm (source: CLEVO)
    14.33"(W) x 10.61"(D) x 1.61"(H) (source: google!)

This might help us find a cover that fits! ;)

Yes I use a 15.4" laptop sleeve with zipper made by Belkin and it fits like a glove.

Why yes it is. Well mine has a small clear spot in the middle so I can see my Eurocom decal through it, but ya looks the same.

Cool! I just got mine in and it fits fairly well! You just have to put its a** end in first! That big butt will stretch out the zipper side too much for my taste. Other than that, it works great!
