After trying Diablo 3 or Tera Online, my computer shuts off after a few minutes. It's probably a heat problem right?
I can play Starcraft 2 and League of Legends fine, but TERA and D3 shuts it down.

Sounds like a heat problem but those temps look fine. You might want to get afterburner and set up the on screen overlay to check temperatures on the fly. If your GPU gets up around 90C I'd start to worry. How long's it been since you cleaned out your laptop?

yeah sounds like the problem when i'm too lazy to clean the inside of my laptop.
your laptop should be easy to disassemble and clean right? try that.
but are those temps while under or off load? if its under load you might be looking at other problems than just heat issues because temps is not that high, if its off load then yeah you need to really clean the fans, vents and heatsinks.

Your GPU temps seem fine but CPU temps reaching 85C is high. As mentioned clean it, open up the bottom panel and get a can of compressed air then blow out the fans, vents, and anything else with dust. Also make sure you always use it on a flat surface so you dont block the intake fans.

Well guys... this is why you should clean the inside atleast every 6 months... (i didn't clean for a year or 2)

Yeah, pretty amazing what a little bit of dusting will do for a laptop cooling system. ;)

Would once a year dusting be enough or should we be alarmed once peak temps start to become too high?

Once a year dusting?! I guess it depends where you live and if you have pets really.

For folks like myself, I live in a desert and have three cats and two dogs around the house. That's an awful lot of dust and pet hair to deal with so I wind up blowing out my laptops and desktops about once every two weeks.

I would recommend blowing your laptop out at least once a month or every two months, unless your conditions are like mine. :)

When I play tera on my p170em it definitely heats up quite a bit, that game takes so much power to run for sure. But I haven't had this problem.

It blasts air! Better than an air compressor because you don't have to worry about moisture. Better than canned air because the psi is constant and you also don't have to worry about moisture. Be warned, this thing is a beast! Loud and very powerful. Check out some YouTube bids and you will see this thing blasts air into the next country! I'm a chemist and we've used DataVac in our labs for years, excellent product.

Better than everything else because vacuums emit static electricity that can ruin your mobo, right? Cleaning circuitry (or near it) with a vacuum is dangerous and not covered by most warranties.

Off topic: why did everyone assume he had a P150EM? He never said what he had.

Use a scuba cylinder with dry suit inflation hose myself. Better than paying for canned air.

Huh? The DataVac is not a vacuum! If you looked at the link provided, you would have seen that. I would never put a vacumm anywhere near my motherboard. You saw "Vac" in the name, didn't check the link, and then tried to teach us something about static electricity? Fail!!
