    Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help me. My laptop will not turn on unless my AC power supply is plug in and turned on. Then my laptop will turn on. Without it I can't turn it on with just my battery.

I have checked that the battery is fully charged and works, as when I turn my laptop on and then take the AC power supply out it runs fine with the battery.

It just can't turn on my laptop without plugging in the AC power supply. Its really annoying.

Anyway my laptop is rebranded clevo laptop bought in the philippines. The company called NEO. The model no. is M72S.

I'am running Windows XP on it.

I tested it and the battery runs for 1 hour and 30mins, once I had unplugged the AC power supply after I started the laptop with the AC power supply. This is pretty normal already because this is a very small laptop and only equipped with a 4 cell battery.

This battery is the battery that came with the laptop, its not third-party battery. This laptop has also been with me for a year and 2 months and this is the first time i experienced this kind of problem.

I really appricate it if anyone can help me.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

remove the battery and check the leads on both ends and see if they need cleaning as this may affect the flow. If that does not work it looks like you will be needing a new battery. How often did you use the laptop on battery power?
