I recently ordered the NP8170 for my trip to Saudi Arabia and I need a bag to carry that 17.3 in beast.

What laptop bags or backpacks do you recommend for travel?

One side note: I liked the look of the Swiss Gear stuff but was told not to bring anything with a "cross" into Saudi as it's looked upon as a religious symbol. They are all muslim of course...

    So any recommendations?

I'm currently rocking a Dell XPS bag that I picked up for $20 on eBay for my Asus G72. It's a beast of a bag, but it has great padding (even has room for my Logitech G35 headphones, power cords, mouse, Zalman NC-2000 cooler AND full size DiNovo BT keyboard!!! It's HUGE!). The XPS logo isnt too irritating either.

My next one will be a Slappa

yeah for students its a good idea to have an understated bag so we dont get ripped off. personally i have a neoprene sleeve for my laptop, so i just stick it in bag whether it be a backpack or whatever.
