Eveytime I enter anything that has 3d in it my screen looks like this

    http://bellet.info//photos/2003/Aug/10Aug18:10/P8100004.JPG...
Sometimes it even does it randomly when i search the web
I hooked it up to a monitor and the same thing happens so im preert sure its not the lcd screen that is broken!!!
    Its a Sager 4080 clevo D400V
    P4 2.6 GHZ
    1.5 GB
    Ati Mobility Radeon 9600
If I have to pay to repair this how much would it cost? who do I take it to? And can I even fix this myself?
    Thanks

im sure i read a few months ago about something like this. he tried to explain it without a picture so i might be wrong here.
its either the ram, graphics card or hard drive. im only guessing now so hopefully someone will be along who knows for sure to help you out.

while you are waiting you could check the hard drive with HD Tune.
try changing the display settings to see if it still does it.

its strange how it does it intermitantly while brousing though.

Does it change if you move the LCD up and down or if you press down on the panel above the keyboard. Have you tried to reinstall your video driver?

you also may want to consider re-seating the connection between the GPU and the LCD. it may have come a bit loose. If none of the suggestions so far help it's probably your GPU memory
