So not sure if any correlation but I was playing a game (SWTOR) and they just did performance enhancing tweaks in their last update. I was only playing for 5 min. My CPU fan went full blast at one point for a brief 5 seconds then back to normal operating speed for when I play that game. That was weird to me so I opened HWMonitor but nothing seemed out of the ordinary temps wise.

Anyway, my laptop just went off out of no where. Battery is definitely out of juice (thing had 88% wear to begin with for months now, but I never used it on battery anyway). But the AC adapter is acting weird. When plugged in only to the wall the blue light is fully on. But when I plug in the other end to my laptop, the blue light flashes very faintly every few seconds.

Does anyone know if this is a laptop issue or AC adapter issue? I was checking out RJTech and noticed they had a replacement adapter for my model. Should I buy from them? My model is a Sager NP9150 (P150EM).

Does it do the same issue if you remove the battery from the system, or have you tried that yet?

If you do buy an adapter, then you'll find out if that was the issue. Or maybe you have a spare one if you travel around with your computer, or maybe return it?
