i have one quick question or two :D

i hear the Q6600 can be overclocked to 3.8, is that true? can it be done in my sager? i dont plan on going that high even if i can - 3.0 would be enough :D

nope, there is no built-in (BIOS or software) OC'ing on the Clevo D901C.

The only OC'ing that seemed successful on this notebook was the Q6600 pin-mod that OC's it to 3.2 GHz .... but the heat will be increased so you will have to run the fans at max speed to make sure the CPU stays cool.

    the Q6600 (G0-stepping) is perfectly fine. :)

it still will kill any current dual core CPU in overall performance.... especially in multi-threaded apps and games. ;)

Plus, isn't OC a proc killer in the long run. Or the heat a OC'd proc releases a MB killer?
