I usually use a mouse with my P751M1-G but today I needed to use the onboard mouse pad and I saw some strange things.

One problem is that when I click the left button one time, it seems to be double-clicking.

Second problem is when I try to drag the mouse while holding the left button, for example, while selecting multiple icons in the desktop, the left button seems to disengage after 1 second even if I still holding the left button.

    Anyone had the same experience?

That usually happened when the button got dirty or got a drop of water/juice.
Given that touchpad buttons are just SMD tactile buttons its pretty cheap and relatively easy to replace them if you know how to solder.
You can try cleaning it, make a paper damm around the button, then put a couple drops of IPA on top of the button and into the body and press the button a couple dozen times, clean around with more paper, more IPA, more presses, repeat during 5-10 minutes, clean it all, blow it dry, try if its fixed, if not, replacing it is the next thing to do.
