Leshcat just released his new Catalyst 12.7 Jun28 Official Beta UnifL for Hybrid Graphics drivers.

He was previously at ATI 9.0 but since his followers asked, he released a new one, for the 8.981.2.0000 dating June 28.

It needs some setup if it's the first of his drivers you're installing, but if it's not there's a cleaner included and it's pretty neat. I'll try it out soon and share my thoughts even though i'm not that an advanced user.

Check it out and give him some love :)

I highly recommend reading the manual: English Manual before any attempt.

This is my first time thinking of trying Leschat's drivers. The changelog he posted doesn't really say what improvements there are over the official beta and since I have never followed or tried his drivers, I'm clueless. Can someone tell me what I would gain from trying this?

Finished installing. First tests show no improvement in performance. Still the same temps and same GPU usage though ( 70% all the time - i got a drop spike to 65 when screenshotting with Gyazo )

I don't have data for average fps in games on 12.X though, so I won't be able to compare those.

The issue with the low usage is still here... And I need to work on my temps asap.

At this time I think i'd stick with the 12.X for the nice switchable graphics history it has. More here -> http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/678948-new-switchable-graphics-options-ccc.html
