Guys, I checked Clevo's site and everything listed there was on the HM65 chipset Huron River.

I remember someone said the new chassis were already done and gave some links, but I cant find the thread anymore.

Can someone post some pics or links so I can take a look?

And secondly - any info on whether they plan to make the chassis again with rubberized finish? I hate that, it collects dust like crazy and feels odd to the touch. And glossy bezels on the screen also make me sick just by thinking of all the fingerprints they collect (and scratches too). That made me leave the anti-scratch stickers on mine as to avoid that and so it looks silly.

The X8100 is the one we have now. (notice the Product Schedule under the pictures)

The P170EM's pictures are actually the P170HM (the current one) pictures as placeholders if you look at the links...

Therefore I'm not even quite sure the P150EM's pictures are indicative of what it's going to look like... it is identical to the P150HM, despite reports of a redesigned keyboard.

So we might have a new chassis design, but if we do it might not be anything major though.

Usually, when Clevo just changes one letter in the model name, it's a refresh. So, I wouldn't expect a chassis redesign.

The reseller "MYTHLOGIC" has also said that the chassis will be the same on the P150EM at least.

Maybe that's why they used the P170HM's pics for the P170EM.

i think most of the designs remain unchanged.. the only changes would be the specs and a backlit keyboard..

I think I also read somewhere (not sure though) that the new keyboards will have a 4 column numberpad. So if that's the case the casing around the keyboard will be changed (can't see them making the keys even smaller).

I remember there was a video on youtube featuring the new Clevo with backlit keyboard. Not sure if it's still there.
