No linux solutions as yet, as I just received the laptop and still testing it. Love it...the finish, keyboard, quality - and the 95% matte screen is incredible, but still undecided about the ATI/AMD card as I've always used nvidia.

In linux, how do you save the Catalyst settings? I lose them on restart. Can you add a file to your home folder like nvidia?

How can I disable the touchpad as I use a wireless mouse.

How can I turn on the THX sound?

Edit: Nevermind about the Catalyst settings...will inquire in the Ubuntu forum as it is not specific to Clevo.

A simple Google search answered one of my questions...Fn + F1 enables/disables the touchpad.

I don't think THX will ever work under Linux, unless you can get it working through WINE as it's a Windows only application.

I love how people talk about THX as if it's a part of the hardware or its own digital sound processor.

It's just a useless piece of software just like that Creative Labs thing that made people think their Intel HDA was as good as an Audigy/X-Fi card.
